Here’s a preview of the exciting developments that are to come:
Cap Juluca Spa By Guerlain To Launch In Spring 2024
In Spring 2024, a new haven of wellness and healing is coming to the pristine shores of Maundays Bay. Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain. The spa gets inspiration from Anguilla’s earliest inhabitants, the Indigenous Arawak tribe, who lived in harmony with nature and looked to each day with a spirit of hope and renewal. At the ceremonial heart of the spa is the Calichi Garden, a lush oasis evoking the sacred Arawak fountain, where guests will relax in between treatments. The spa menu will offer traditional and innovative treatments that embrace Guerlain’s multi-sensory and holistic approach, along with a selection of exclusive treatments created with the culture and lifestyle of Anguilla in mind.
Designed by renowned design studio, Rottet Studio – who oversaw Cap Juluca’s transformation in 2018 – Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain invites visitors to reconnect with nature amid the cerulean sea and a meandering landscape of lush botanicals. Guests will be greeted by an open-air courtyard adorned with emerald mosaic patterns and a central fountain, leading into a light-filled reception, featuring neutral earth tones and mahogany cabinets with cane detailing. A sanctuary of senses, the private treatment rooms will boast wide ocean views of Cap Juluca’s famed crescent beach paired with ceruse and bleached white oak, limestone flooring and basins.
Culinary Shores: Haute Green Gastronomy
Further elevating Cap Juluca as a culinary destination, vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli will be in residence from November 20-24, as part of the property’s Culinary Shores chef series. Coscarelli is the first vegan chef to capture the top prize on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and has since published four best-selling cookbooks. During her takeover, guests can look forward to five days of plant-fueled fun. Some highlights include a fine-dining four-course menu at Cap Juluca’s open-air waterside Pimms restaurant, a special vegan and non-vegan Thanksgiving dinner complete with Veuve Clicquot bubbly, and a yoga session followed by Chef Chloe’s mouthwatering breakfast spread.
Wellbeing Experiences With Acclaimed Experts
To complement the new spa experience, Cap Juluca will join forces with world renowned yoga and meditation teacher Travis Eliot, from November 27-30, on an immersive program designed to promote, release and restore balance to the mind. Kicking off with an intimate welcome reception, it will offer guests the rare chance to learn from Eliot during a rejuvenating and personalized yoga flow session, a candlelit Yin Yoga class, an insightful wisdom talk, and a personalized yoga experience set among the calming sounds of the waves.
Dive even deeper in February, during a three-day activation led by Olympic swimmer Jazz Carlin, hailed as one of Great Britain’s most decorated Olympian swimmers. From February 18-24, Carlin will share her experience and skills with guests, including a sunrise swim in Maundays Bay, a hands-on swim class for guests in the property’s infinity-edge pool as well as swim classes for children from the local community.
Other not-to-miss sporting activities include sailing across Cap Juluca’s famed shoreline and horseback riding on the beach to engage in a friendly match on the resort’s new pickleball courts or keeping fit in style at the state-of-the-art fitness center.
