Maria Sharapova recently announced her roles as the Global Wellness Ambassador for Aman Resorts. Sharapova will co-create a series of wellness retreats across different Aman properties, focusing on preparation, performance and recovery to encompass body and mind. February 2024 will be her debut retreat at Thailand’s Amanpuri. The three-night Performance and Recovery retreat features a series of interactive experiences, activities and pioneering technologies that Sharapova uses in her own wellness routines. Sam Querrey, Amanyara Turks & Caicos: Fine tune your tennis and pickleball skills at the lush and marvelous Amanyara Resort on the west coast of Providenciales Island. This November World No. 11 tennis professional Sam Querrey will be in residence for four days hosting daily clinics and strategy sessions. Querrey, a former American tennis player, was ranked No. 11 in the world in February 2018. Known for his serves, he has defeated both Andy Murray and Novack Djokovic in quarterfinal and semifinal matches. Querrey’s clinics will focus on both tennis and pickleball, and guests are invited to attend a cocktail reception on the final evening.
Danil Medvedev Soneva Fushi, Maldives: As part of Soneva’s upcoming Winter Collection in the Maldives, tennis icon Daniil Medvedev will be visiting lavish resort in the Maldives’ Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, to host a series of exclusive guest experiences. From November 22 to December 1, 2023, guests of all ages are invited to participate in one-on-one coaching sessions and friendly matches with Medvedev at the resort’s open-air or covered Olympic-sized tennis courts.
