1 Hotel Toronto, one of Toronto’s top hotels, is celebrating the holiday by bringing together the best local purveyors for an outstanding selection of seasonal offerings. The property will also host 12 Days of Festive, a combination of free and ticketed community events encouraging families and residents to gather together this season.

Festive Feasts

Come Christmas Day and Boxing Day, 1 Kitchen Toronto highlights Canadian suppliers with a festive prix fixe menu. The highly inventive, low-waste menu begins with a delicious chicken liver pate appetizer, followed by a beet and scallop corn toast, and for the main, a savoury beef cheek with honey nut squash, gooseberries and yellow foot chanterelles. To finish off the meal, Chef Jose Matamoros has created an incredible zero-waste carrot cake using the vegetable in three ways to ensure nothing goes to waste.
