Westin Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The Westin Porto de Galinhas, an All-Inclusive Resort, introducing a new standard of distinct and personalized hospitality in Brazil. Nestled among five acres of lush greenery facing Porto de Galinhas beach, the new resort is the brand’s first property in Brazil and second all-inclusive offering. Featuring modern guestrooms, a rejuvenating spa, several food and beverage experiences, and modular event space, the resort aims to offer a haven for those seeking a relaxation and renewal.

“For years, Brazilians have consistently rated this destination as the top beach in the country and we’re excited to not only expand the company’s presence, but bring the first Westin resort to the market,” said Brian King, President, Caribbean and Latin America (CALA), Marriott International. “The arrival of The Westin Porto de Galinhas, an All-Inclusive Resort underscores our commitment to the region, complementing our existing hotels in Brazil and further grow our All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.”

Designed by DPA Designers, the design and architecture layout of The Westin Porto de Galinhas combines elegant decor and lush nature to create an immersive and inviting atmosphere. The resort offers 140 modern, residential guestrooms, in addition to six villas. For an elevated experience, the resort features six two-story villas with a private pool, living room, bathtub, and terrace.

“We are pleased to bring Westin Hotels & Resorts to Brazil, expanding our global footprint and our brand’s distinct all-inclusive offering,” said Jennifer Connell, Global Brand Leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts and Vice President, Distinctive Premium Brands, Marriott International. “With a design that infuses nature with modern sensibilities and delivering our signature well-being programming, The Westin Porto de Galinhas will redefine the wellness experience in the region and encourage guests to be their best selves.”

The resort offers ten differentiated food and beverage outlets, varying from quick snacks and appetizers to full-service fine dining options with a focus on healthy eating and ingredients supplied by small local producers. Guests can indulge in gourmet appetizers and Brazilian classic recipes during the day at Oasis Lounge, where the menu is continuously updated based on the local fresh produce supplied on the day.

Tuna Restaurant is the property’s exclusive dining outlet, offering a six-course tasting menu with a modern and minimalist gastronomy. Additionally, both Velas and Galinhas Bistro offer a balanced and intuitive dining experience for guests looking to indulge in the comfort of Asian cuisine and Brazilian cuisine, respectively. The resort also features a food truck, serving traditional street food with different themes each day.

AMAY SPA is a sanctuary for guests looking to revitalize the mind, relax, and recharge. The spa includes five massage rooms, a swimming pool, and a whirlpool with four waterfalls and various pressures of heated water. A steam room with LED lights that resemble the stars, an outdoor shower, and a lake integrated into the spa complete the experience. One of the spa’s signature treatments is an ‘Oberwasser’ spinal treatment, in which the guest floats on top of the water while the therapist performs the massage.

The Westin Porto de Galinhas offers a multitude of inspiring experiences, including floating yoga by the pool, beach volleyball and tennis, dedicated kids and teens club, a gastronomy room with live cooking demonstrations, and a whirlpool with private bungalows including a fire pit for larger groups.
